NYPD seeks sicko who sexually abused teen girls as they slept

Police are looking for the creep who they say preyed on two adolescent girls asleep in their beds in the Bronx for his sick gratification.

Ernest Robinson, 31, abused the hospitality of two different families who invited him into their homes on separate dates only to have him attack a 10-year-old and a 9-year-old, cops said Thursday.

The first attack happened on March 11, 2021 when Robinson crept to the bed of the 10-year-old in her home near Boston Road and E. 166th St. around midnight, police said. He climbed into bed and rubbed his privates against the victimโ€™s buttocks, according to cops.

Then last month, on May 28, again around midnight, he awoke the 9-year-old girl and attempted to rape her in her home near Belmont Ave and E. 179th St., according to the NYPD.

Itโ€™s unclear why the first incident was only just reported.

Robinson has had several run-ins with the law prior to this, but never a sexual assault on a child.

Heโ€™s been arrested for criminal trespass, assault, violating an order of protection regarding a girlfriend and having a forged instrument, police said.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPDโ€™s Crime Stoppers Hotline at (800) 577-8477.
