Brennan O’Neill dominated with five goals to spark the United States to a 10-7 win over Canada in the title game of the 2023 World Lacrosse Championships Saturday night in San Diego.
The United States repeated as champion with a 7-0 record in the tournament. O’Neill, who won the Tewaaraton Award for Duke this spring, paced the team with 15 goals and his 20 points tied for the team lead with Rob Pannell (8-12) and Kieran McArdle (11-9).
