NEWBURGH – Police from several agencies including the Orange County Sheriff’s SWAT team arrested one suspect following an armed standoff at a Valero gas station at Lake and South William Streets in the City of Newburgh.
One suspect is in custody and City officials say they are investigating the possibility of the second suspect.
The incident began after 3:30 this morning and the suspect was taken into custody around 10 a. m.
Police from several area agencies responded along with the sheriff’s SWAT team.
