Volatile Chicago White Sox fan sought in subway shoving incident that left victim with broken arm: NYPD

A squabble over a subway seat left a 60-year-old straphanger with a broken arm on a Queens subway platform, police say.

A verbal altercation kicked off just after midnight Thursday morning on a Northbound E train approaching the Grand Ave. station in Elmhurst.

Police say the suspect threatened to assault the victim, who then tried to leave the train as it arrived at the station, cops say.

As he exited the train, the suspect shoved him out of the train car, causing him to fall to the platform and fracture his right arm, according to the NYPD.

The attacker rode the train to the Woodhaven Boulevard station and was wearing a White Sox ball cap, a black hoodie with the word SUPREME on the front, a black backpack, silver and black striped pants, and blue sneakers, police say.

Cops are asking anyone with information to call the NYPDโ€™s Crime Stoppers Hotline at (800) 577-TIPS.
