Syracuse man pleads guilty to selling cocaine, having gun, prosecutors say

Syracuse, N.Y. — A Syracuse man pleaded guilty to selling cocaine and having a gun on Tuesday, federal prosecutors said.

Eddie Coplin sold cocaine an ounce at a time out of his home on West Beard Avenue between September 2022 to March 2023 said federal prosecutors in a plea agreement filed in the Northern District Court of New York.

Coplin sold over 500 grams, or a pound, of cocaine and “cocaine base” also known as crack cocaine, prosecutors said.
