Panama has reached its first CONCACAF Gold Cup final since 2013, and they’ll square off with perennial contender Mexico at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Sunday, July 16 (7/16/2023) at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Panama dethroned the defending champion United States Men’s National Team after a 1-1 draw went to penalties, and ended in a 5-4 heartbreaker for the U.S. It’s the first time since 2015 that the USA men have failed to reach a Gold Cup final.
Mexico earned a commanding 3-0 semifinal win over Jamaica to reach its third straight Gold Cup title game. Henry Martin and Luis Chavez each scored for Mexico before halftime, and Roberto Alvarado secured a third three minutes into stoppage time.
