NYC Restaurant Week: Where to go on Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Hundreds of venues will participate in this summer’s installment of NYC Restaurant Week. On Staten Island, that translates to 10 highlighted eateries. Vittles to be tasted range from gourmet American to Liberian-West African fare from a Stapleton-stationed food truck.

The trademarked NYC Restaurant Week happens from July 24 to August 20. It comes courtesy of NYC & Company, the official destination marketing organization and convention and visitors bureau for the Big Apple.

The program promises two-course lunches and three-course dinners across the five borough starting at $30. Those who pre-register with Mastercard will get $10 back on the meal with $45 or more in purchases during NYC Restaurant Week.

Rab’s Country Lanes in Dongan Hills (Bowlatrabs.com) is renovating its restaurant and is not listed this time around.

• Bridge’s Kitchen, Stapleton — Bridgeskitchen.com (Note: Bridge’s is a Liberian food truck coming soon to 76 Canal St., Stapleton. It will open Thursday to Monday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
