Carlos Rodon will make his third start in a Yankees uniform. The southpaw allowed four runs over five innings on July 14 against the Colorado Rockies but looked better as the game went on. After surrendering a solo home run to Randal Grichuk in the bottom of the fourth, Rodon settled in as he struck out four of the final six batters he faced. The 30-year-old could produce a high-strikeout performance against an Angels team that has 853 strikeouts, the fifth most in the American League this season.
