Redfield, N.Y. — A 51-year-old Oswego County man has died of injuries he suffered earlier this month in a motorcycle accident.
Ronald G. Flower Jr., of Central Square, died Saturday at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, said Trooper Jack Keller, a spokesperson for the State Police.
On July 8, Flower was injured when his 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle crashed on County Route 17 near O’Hara Road in the town of Redfield
At about 6:10 p.m., troopers were called to the scene of the crash.
Flower had been traveling south on the road at a high rate of speed when he failed to make a right turn, crossed the road and struck an earth embankment, Keller said.
Flower was transported from the scene by helicopter to Upstate University Hospital.
