Lots of teenagers get summer jobs as camp counselors or scooping ice cream, but WNYC’s Amy Pearl caught up with a group of teens who has spent the summer tending the ornamental vegetable garden at historic Untermeyer Park in Yonkers.
Untermeyer Park is open daily at 9am. And is a short walk from the Greystone metro north station. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
