The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of Johnathan T. Flesch, 30, following an incident at the local Division of Human Services office.
Flesch is facing multiple charges, including felony assault, attempted assault, and obstruction.
The incident occurred on Monday, July 31, at the Human Services office located at 1 DiPronio Drive in the Village of Waterloo.
Flesch reportedly became confrontational during his visit after entering a restricted area of the facility. Despite being asked to leave, he refused, resulting in a physical confrontation with a member of the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and several Seneca County Probation Officers.

In the process of detaining Flesch, two officials were injured, one of them seriously.
Following the incident, Flesch was taken into custody without further conflict and was transported to the Seneca County Jail to await CAP Court.
Orders of protection have been issued for both victims. Assistance was provided at the scene by members of Seneca County Probation, the Village of Waterloo Police Department, and the New York State Police.
