The United States Postal Service (USPS) is set to host job fairs in Rochester as part of its recruitment drive.
The events are scheduled for Friday, August 11, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursday, August 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., both to be held at the Rochester Processing and Distribution Center located at 1335 Jefferson Road.
While USPS representatives will be present to furnish details about available positions and answer queries, attendees are informed that job applications will only be accepted online.
USPS is specifically seeking to fill roles of City Carrier Assistants at $19.33/hr, Rural Carrier Associates at $19.94/hr, and Mail Handler Assistants at $17.32/hr. Prospective applicants should be at least 18 years old, pass a drug test and background check, and be willing to work on weekends and holidays.
