ALBANY – A Copake man pled guilty on Thursday in Albany federal court to receiving child pornography.
Christopher Stickles, 35, admitted that between January 2021 and August 2022, he accessed the internet in order to visit file-sharing sites and websites that contained child pornography. He admitted that while on those sites, he downloaded over 15,000 still and video files that contained child pornography.
At sentencing in December, Stickles faces from five to 20 years in prison and from five years to life of post-release supervision.
