The Syracuse Orange Football Team opens its 2023 college football season against the Colgate Raiders at the JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday, September 2 (9/2/2023) at 4 p.m. ET.
Syracuse vs. Colgate will air on ACC Network Extra, which is not available on cable TV, but can be accessed via ESPN.com or associated apps. It will also stream on ESPN Plus. Details below.

Dino Babers is coaching the Orange for his eighth season, and will look to lead the new team to a second consecutive bowl game this season. Once again, his tenure may be on the line if he cannot repeat that performance.
Colgate and Syracuse football have met a whopping 67 times, with the Upstate New York rivalry spanning three centuries, and while the all-time record is 31-31-5 between the teams, Syracuse has won the last 16 showdowns dating to 1951. Most recently, Syracuse beat Colgate 33-7 in 2016.
