STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The FDNY responded to a fire at a commercial building on Richmond Avenue in Bulls Head on Tuesday afternoon.
About 60 firefighters and 12 units were called at 12:52 p.m. to the fire at 1911 Richmond Ave., according to a spokesman for the FDNY/EMS.
Members fought a fire at the two-story office building at that location. The fire was placed under control in less than a half hour, at 1:12 p.m., the FDNY spokesman said.
No injuries were reported, according to the FDNY.
The blaze was on the roof of the building, which has multiple units, the FDNY posted on X, previously known as Twitter.
