KHRC releases search feature for Kentucky sports betting service provider licensees

Retail sports betting launched in Kentucky on September 7th, 2023, and mobile sports betting apps will arrive in Kentucky on September 28th, 2023. The Kentucky Horse Racing Commission, the regulatory body that oversees Kentucky’s sports betting industry, now allows users to search for Kentucky sports betting service provider licensees via the official KHRC portal.

In Kentucky, mobile sportsbooks are categorized as sports betting “service providers,” whereas brick-and-mortar horse racing betting operations are “betting operators.” The KHRC’s search feature allows users to search for licensees in both categories.
