After a rainout on Monday, the New York Yankees (73-72) completed a doubleheader sweep of the Boston Red Sox (73-72) at Fenway Park, taking the opener 3-2 before winning the nightcap 4-1.

DJ LeMahieu put the Yankees on the board in the sixth inning with an RBI single to left field, and Gleyber Torres put them on top with a two-run single to right field.
Clay Holmes walked the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth but induced a game-ending 4-6-3 double play to secure his 19th save of the season.
GAME 2 RECAP:

New York fell behind early again, but the Yankees scored four unanswered, and the bullpen combined for four scoreless frames after Carlos Rodรณn tossed five innings of one-run ball.
Gleyber Torres and Estevan Florial had RBI singles, while Jake Bauers and Austin Wells also plated runs.
Zach McAllister, Anthony Misiewicz, Matt Bowman, and Nick Ramirez each tossed a scoreless inning.
