Cylo? Hush? Posh? Remember those and other lounges, nightclubs and bars from the 1990s and 2000s?

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – There has never been a shortage of great nightlife hotspots on Staten Island.

Which great nightclubs, lounges and cocktail bars you remember depends on when you grew up.

And it doesnโ€™t matter where you lived on Staten Island. There were places to get a drink, hear a DJ or a live band, dance or just chill out in a dimly lit and, back in the day, smokey, lounge on the North Shore, in the Mid-Island and on the South Shore.

Many of the spots you may remember from your clubbing days in the 1990s and the 2000s are long gone, often replaced by other clubs or lounges at the same address.

So letโ€™s take a trip back through time and check out some of Staten Islandโ€™s fondly remembered nightclubs and lounges from the not-too-distant past. I hope the photos bring back some good memories.
