KINGSTON – An inmate at the Ulster County Jail has been charged with promoting prison contraband and criminal possession of a controlled substance as a misdemeanor.
It is alleged that Scott Chrislett, 31, of West Hurley, possessed several pieces of contraband that were on him while in the jail.
With the assistance of K-9 Charli, Chrislett was allegedly found in possession of marijuana, Suboxone, tobacco and matches.
He remains in jail on unrelated charges and will be arraigned in Kingston City Court on the new ones at a later date.
