STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Empire Outlets will hit the auction block at 10 a.m. this Thursday, Sept. 21, with all “air space, easements, rights, royalties and appurtenances” going to the highest bidder, public record notes. The sale of the struggling St. George retail complex, which opened in 2019 and entered into foreclosure in 2022, will take place in room 112 of Richmond County Supreme Court, which is located at 18 Richmond Terrace.
Public notice published in the Staten Island Advance on Aug. 18 noted that the space will be sold in one parcel in Richmond County Supreme Court “to the bidder who will offer the highest price, subject to all leasehold interests of tenants whose lease agreements were executed prior to the filing of the Notice of Pendency.”
