Itโ€™s Tuesday morning in New York City and somehow a group of 20-somethings convinced dozens of people to dine at their fake steakhouse.

The whole event was part of an elaborate inside joke that started with phony Google reviews that had eager diners vying for a reservation at a restaurant that didnโ€™t exist. The friends decided to actually try to run a steakhouse, for one night only. They rented a space and developed a $114 prix-fixe menu that represented the life cycle of a cow. Even though beverage options were slim, consisting of just three red wines and milk, it turned out to be pretty successful, even though there were some skeptical diners.
