Muldrow Properties, in collaboration with Fred Straus Inc., has unveiled plans to convert a former bank building in downtown Auburn into a versatile development named The Atrium on Genesee.
The Citizen reports the initiative aims to transform the 25,000-square-foot space at 115 Genesee St., once occupied by KeyBank, into a mixed-use facility, hosting a range of amenities including storefronts, event spaces, offices, and food and beverage establishments.
This development is seen as a step towards fostering local commerce, generating employment, and revitalizing the downtown Auburn area.
Located in the core of the Business Improvement District (BID), the project has garnered acclaim from local businesses for its potential to impart positive impacts locally and regionally.
