Springsteen delays remaining 2023 tour dates amid recovery

Iconic musician Bruce Springsteen has made the decision to delay all his remaining 2023 concerts with The E Street Band, citing ongoing recovery from peptic ulcer disease. The announcement, made on a social media platform, came after the initial postponement of his September shows due to medical advice. The rescheduled dates for the postponed performances will be disclosed next week, with all concerts set to occur at their originally intended venues.

Peptic ulcer disease, though commonly treatable, can lead to severe complications such as internal bleeding and stomach cancer if neglected. It is characterized by the erosion of the stomach or small intestine lining due to acid, resulting in ulcers. Frequent causes include bacterial infections or prolonged consumption of certain anti-inflammatory medications. Bruce and his team express gratitude for the outpouring of support and well wishes from fans, emphasizing that Bruce is recuperating and looks forward to performing next year.

Fans holding tickets for the rescheduled shows have the option to request refunds within 30 days if they procured their tickets through official vendors and cannot attend on the new dates. Otherwise, all tickets remain valid for the rescheduled performances. Springsteen assures his audience that he is on the mend and eager to return to the stage in 2024.
