The Arizona Diamondbacks and the Milwaukee Brewers go head-to-head for a three-game MLB National League Wild Card series starting Tuesday, October 3 (10/3/2023) to kick off the MLB postseason.

The Brewers clinched the National League Central with a 92-70 record, and made it back to the postseason for the fifth time in the last six seasons under Craig Counsell, after missing out last year.
The Diamondbacks finished second place in the NL West with an 84-78 record — a full 16 games behind the division-leading LA Dodgers. Manager Torey Lovullo has finally returned to the postseason for the first time since his inaugural season with the D-backs in 2017.
During the regular season, the Diamondbacks held the head-to-head 4-2 against the Brewers, but the Brewers hold the all-time head-to-head record 93-84.
