Rochester-area duo accused of bringing large amounts of fentanyl into Ontario County

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of two Rochester-area men following a drug investigation.

Around 8:30 p.m. on Monday investigators arrested Corey Cady, 36, and Michael Cady, 40, of Irondequoit and Rochester respectively.

The arrests follow a long-term investigation into the sale of fentanyl in Ontario County.

Cory Cady was held without bail due to his status as a predicate felony offender.

Meanwhile, Michael Cady was taken into custody on a warrant out of Monroe County. He was turned over to RPD without incident.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Geneva Police Department, Canandaigua Police Department, and sheriff’s offices in Wayne and Seneca counties.
