Liam Burke played lacrosse, wrestled and was a member of the track team at Scotia-Glenville High school. And what did he compete in when he went to St. Michael’s College? How about diving for the men’s swim team.
Burke, a senior from Scotia, joined the Purple Knights for the 2020-21 season but the team didn’t compete due to COVID-19. Last season he was OK, but this season he has raised his level considerably and now he is in position to make a major impact when the Purple Knights compete in the Northeast-10 Conference Championship this weekend in Worcester. Burke had an outstanding regular season. He finished with 11 victories which tied a record that goes back to 2004. He stands eighth in victories in program history.
