TOWN OF NEWBURGH – Police in the Town of Newburgh are looking for a woman who has eight warrants outstanding for her arrest.
Samantha Nugent, 34, was arrested in December 2022, January 2023, and February 2023, three times in March and April.
Police say she was also arrested twice on warrants for those charges and released on all incidents, including the warrants and has failed to show up in court, so the additional warrants were issued.
She was released each time as a result of state criminal justice and bail reform laws enacted a few years ago.
