HERMON — The Hermon-DeKalb Central School District is actively preparing for the upcoming total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024.
The rare event will be visible in the North Country.
Prior to the start of the school year, faculty and staff went back to school with Professor Aileen O’Donoghue, from St. Lawrence University.
Professor O’Donoghue visited to outline the sequence of events that occur during a solar eclipse.
District administration, faculty and staff are excited for this rare event and look forward to including the community when it comes to celebrating it later this school year.
