• Breakfast Club co-host DJ Envy is under fire for promoting a property-flipping venture that some investors now say was a scam.
• A recently renovated West Harlem playground — which now has a beautiful turf field, among other amenities — has remained locked up for months after construction was essentially finished. 
• A startup called Culdesac is trying to put car-free, walkable neighborhoods in cities around the country, with the first of these apartment/grocery store/restaurant/yoga studio complexes set to be completed in Tempe, Arizona in 2025.
• “Survivor,” now in its 45th season, is running out of remote islands that aren’t completely inhospitable due to global warming.
• In other entertainment-meets-climate news, Formula 1 said it’s considering changes after drivers were passing out and puking in their helmets during a recent race in Qatar, where inside-the-car temperatures hit 122 degrees Fahrenheit.
