If you’ve always been a fan of mystery and intrigue, tune in to the “Murdaugh Murders: The Movie,” Lifetime’s take on the now-infamous Southern family tragedy. Part one is all set to premiere Saturday, Oct. 14 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on Lifetime.
According to the Lifetime website, the show follows the twisted true story of Alex Murdaugh played by award-winning actor Bill Pullman, who was found guilty this year in the double-homicide of his wife, Maggie, and his son, Paul.
Interestingly, for more than 100 years, the wealthy and powerful Murdaugh Family were a local dynasty in the South Carolina low country, where they oversaw the prosecution of all criminal cases in the state’s 14th circuit district.
