The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 42-year-old Bath resident following an investigation into a violated court order.
Chad Thomas, 42, is accused of communicating with a protected person through a third-person, according to investigators.
He was incarcerated at the Steuben County Jail at the time of the incident.
He was charged with a felony count of criminal contempt and will answer that charge at a later date.
Deputies said Thomas remained in custody after arraignment.
