WHITE PLAINS – It has been some five months since 400 migrants were placed by the City of New York in White Plains, Yonkers and Ardsley, and County Executive George Latimer said on Monday there have been no problems reported.
Latimer said all three locations have been dealing with the issues without any crises.
“You can’t assert that crime has followed, and you can’t assert that disease has followed, and you can’t assert that disruption has followed that because these three places in Westchester County have been well managed,” he said.
The county executive said there have been no reports of crime or disease at any of those locations.
Latimer also said there have been no further placements recently.
