An established maverick with nuances and depth beyond the norm, Dr. Richey is the youngest inductee into the National Black Radio Hall of Fame, and received the 2023 “Distinguished Alumni Award” from Clark Atlanta University. He was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from President Barack Obama in 2016 and is also the youngest inductee into the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame, where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Oprah Winfrey, Ambassador Andrew Young, and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall are past recipients. 

Dr. Richey is the Director of Alternative Medicine Research at the West Cascade Medical Center and a Board Certified Alternative Medical Practitioner by the American Alternative Medical Association. He serves on the Board of Directors for Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, is Chairman of the Georgia Council for International Visitors – a US State Department program, Chairman of the International Consular Ball – 2024, and founder of the Rashad Richey Foundation, a nonprofit providing mentorship to gang-affected and gang-affiliated youth. Dr. Richey, President of Rolling Out, was recently ranked as having the ‘fastest growing TV news show in America’, according to Wikipedia, holds multiple advanced degrees, including three research-based doctoral degrees from Clark Atlanta University, Business University of Costa Rica, and Azteca University, completed his Master’s in Applied Physics and Quantum Mechanics from Universidad Empresarial de Costa Rica, Master’s in Neuroscience from the University of Pacific, and MBA from Beulah Heights University.

Dr. Richey was accepted into the Ph.D. program in Quantum Physics at APSB’s School of Life Information Science and Engineering, which is a rare opportunity as there are very few quantum physicists. He chose Clark Atlanta University as his research partner and is highly regarded for his academic achievements and ability to apply physics to medical and social endeavors.
