CLINTON HILL — Two men are dead and one is in critical condition after two shootings — separated by just seven minutes — took place just a block away from each other in Clinton Hill Sunday night, police said.

At 10:44 p.m., police responded to a 911 call for a person shot within the vicinity of Flushing Street and Steuben Street, in Steuben Park. Upon arrival, officers found an unidentified man in his 30’s with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported by EMS to New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Seven minutes later, officers responded to a separate 911 call for shots fired, just a block away outside a migrant shelter at 29 Ryerson St. There, police discovered two men who had also been shot — the first, a 21-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to his body, was transported to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The second victim, age 59, sustained a gunshot wound to the head and is listed in critical condition.

Two suspects are wanted in the first shooting, with one taking off in a vehicle, according to Pix 11. Police had not identified or provided descriptions of the suspects in either shooting as of midday Monday, and have not indicated if the shootings were related to each other.
