PARK SLOPE — Brooklyn Conservatory of Music (BKCM) announced its fall lineup, which includes a variety of concerts, parties and events. The highlight of the fall programming is the BCM House Party, the conservatory’s annual fundraiser.
The BKCM is a non-profit community music school located on Seventh Avenue in a historic Park Slope brownstone. BKCM offers music classes, events and music therapy, and its goal is to provide Brooklynites with access to music education and therapy regardless of age, skill level or income.

The event starts at 7:30 p.m. at the BKCM concert hall. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door and $15 for children, students and seniors.

For parents of preschool aged children born in 2020, the BKCM is hosting four “Turning Five Talks.” The information sessions educate parents on how to approach kindergarten programming, especially for children with special education services or therapy. The sessions are hosted by Sarah Birnbaum of New York Special Needs Support, attorney Greg Cangiano of Skyer Law, and neuropsychologists Dr. Laura Tagliareni and Dr. David Salsberg. Registration is free, and the sessions take place on Sept. 16, Sept. 26, Oct. 8, and Oct. 23, all at 6:30 p.m.
