BROOKLYN HEIGHTS โ Kids skipped, hopped and tiptoed through the pop-up flower art on Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights on Saturday, June 3. Called Montague Street Blooms, the display was created by artist Piera Bonerba, owner of Le Meraviglie Art Studio at 108 Montague St., and artist Emanuele Simonelli. The flowers will reappear on Saturdays through July from 12-5 p.m. as part of Open Streets on Montague.ย
On June 10, Open Streets will feature FAD Market, which will take over two blocks of Montague between Clinton and Hicks streets. More than 45 makers and crafters will be offering jewelry, apparel, body care, tableware, artisanal food and more. The event will also feature a special Kids Corner with fun activities.
