58-year-old woman fatally stabbed at entranceway of Brooklyn apartment building: NYPD

A 58-year-old woman was found dead with knife wounds to her body and throat at the entranceway to an apartment building in Brooklyn Tuesday, police said.

The woman, identified as Latanya Parker, was discovered dead outside an apartment complex on Fulton Street in Bedford Stuyvesant at around 3:15 p.m., according to the NYPD.

Cops were called to the scene and discovered Parker with multiple stab wounds to her body and throat, lying in a pool of blood. The 58-year-old lived in the building where she was killed.

EMS responded and pronounced her dead at the scene, and cops have ruled the incident a homicide.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
