A bus driver was fatally struck and killed in a Brooklyn hit-and-run while he exited his car for work on Friday morning.

At around 6 a.m. on April 5, the victim, a 57-year-old man, was struck as he exited his vehicle at Wortman Avenue and Georgia Avenue. The victim was stuck by a four-door sedan traveling eastbound on Wortman Avenue. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police have yet to release the victimโ€™s identity, however nearby workers noted that the victim was a bus driver. Those at the scene believe that an argument between two pimps may have caused the collision following an argument.

โ€œCould you imagine losing your life going to drop off someoneโ€™s loving sweet children,โ€ a bystander told amNewYork Metro.

Detectives and Officers from the NYPD Highway Collision Units are looking for a grey four-door sedan that they believe is involved in the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
