DEVELOPING | Construction worker dies in Brooklyn building collapse

A construction worker was reportedly killed following a building collapse in Brooklyn on Friday afternoon.

The call came in at 12:09 p.m. on Feb.2, directing FDNY units to the collapse at 1266 50th St. in Borough Park. Reports indicate that a wall collapsed in the rear basement.

Fire Department personnel found the victim after digging through the rubble. Units from specialized Squad Company 1, Rescue Company 2 and Rescue 5 are continuing to work at the scene.
