A person was found dead in a car fire at took place in Brooklyn on Monday night.
At just after 7:25 p.m. on Feb. 12, Engine Company 332 and Ladder Company 175 arrived at the fire at 6 Marginal St. Upon their arrival, units found that the fire had spread to a two-story wood frame home and a one-story brick home.
FDNY personnel used two hose lines to knock down the fire and cool off the siding of the building. Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Searches throughout the residences yielded negative for trapped civilians. The FDNY Fire Marshal’s Office will determine the cause and origin of the fire.
