Police are searching for a gunman who shot a teenager in the face inside a Brooklyn NYCHA building on Sunday, authorities say.
Detectives and officers from the 73rd Precinct could be seen hurriedly rushing in and out of the Marcus Garvey Houses at 10 Amboy St. in Brownsville just after 2:33 p.m. on March 24 after a young man had been shot multiple times.Â
Upon their arrival, police found an 18-year-old man shot multiple times in his face and neck.
EMS swiftly rushed the wounded man to Brookdale University Hospital, where miraculously, he is expected to survive.
While police say they do not currently have a description of a suspect they are performing a video canvas in hopes of discovering exactly what took place.
