A parking dispute at a Brooklyn gas station on Saturday night came to an end with a deadly punch, police reported.
Authorities said a 30-year-old male tow truck driver and a 61-year-old man got into an argument at the Shell gas station located at 1143 Clarkson Ave. in Brownsville at about 8:45 p.m. on March 16.
Cops said the beef quickly turned physical, leading the tow truck driver to punch the 61-year-old man in the face. The blow caused the victim to fall and strike his head on the pavement.
Officers from the 67th Precinct responded to the scene. EMS rushed the 61-year-old man to Brookdale University Hospital, where he died about a half-hour later. Police have withheld the man’s identity, pending family notification.
