On Sunday, March 10, the 26th Annual Sunday Supper at Restaurant DANIEL saw a convergence of culinary excellence and philanthropy as esteemed guests gathered to support Citymeals on Wheels. Hosted by Citymeals Board Chair Chef Daniel Boulud, the event proved to be a resounding success, raising over $1.2 million in support of providing meals for New York City’s homebound elderly population.
The evening was a celebration of fine dining and generosity, with guest chefs from around the world lending their talents to create an unforgettable culinary experience. William Bradley from Addison, San Diego; Stėphane Grattier from Boulangerie Christophe, Georgetown, Washington, DC; Virgilio Martinez from Central, Lima, Peru; Mawa McQueen from Mawa’s Kitchen, Aspen, CO; and Marlene Vieira from Marlene, Lisbon, Portugal, joined forces with Chef Daniel Boulud to craft an exceptional menu.

Together we’re making sure that the oldest New Yorkers are never forgotten.”
During the cocktail hour, attendees were treated to a tantalizing array of canapés, including Chef William Bradley’s Chicken Liver Churro with Bitter Chocolate and Chef Marlene Vieira’s Tuna Tartare Pani Puri.
