STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — One person went to the hospital Friday afternoon following a crash in Sunnyside, officials said.
The crash occurred around 1 p.m. on Clove Road near Niagara Street, according to a spokesperson with the FDNY.
In an image from the scene, a van could be seen with considerable front end damage. FDNY personnel can also be seen responding.
The FDNY said that one individual was transported by “other means” to Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton in unknown condition.
