Accident injures one, stalls traffic on busy Hylan Boulevard

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A motor vehicle accident resulted in an injury Friday evening and stalled traffic along a busy stretch of Hylan Boulevard, according to an FDNY spokesperson.

The accident was reported around 6:19 p.m. at the intersection of Hylan Boulevard and Buffalo Street.

One civilian suffered minor injuries and was transported to Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze, the spokesperson said.
