Actress Shannen Doherty announces stage 4 cancer has spread to her bones: Report

Actress Shannen Doherty, best known for her roles on ‘90s cult TV shows “Beverly Hills 90210″ and “Charmed,” told People.com that her Stage 4 breast cancer has spread to her bones.

While Doherty is still in the process of receiving treatment, the 52-year-old actress said she’s determined to continue moving forward, the report said.

“I’m not done with living,’’ Doherty said. “I’m not done with loving. I’m not done with creating. I’m not done with hopefully changing things for the better.”

After her initial breast cancer diagnosis in 2015, Doherty underwent a mastectomy as well as chemotherapy and radiation treatments, the report said.

In April 2017, she posted on social media that she had gone into remission. However, by 2019, the cancer returned and she announced her diagnosis of metastatic stage 4 cancer a year later, the report said.
