Cops seek man for questioning in connection to theft inside Staten Island restaurant of cash, credit card

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual sought for questioning in connection to an alleged grand larceny in Tottenville.

According to a statement from the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information, the incident occurred on Sunday, Oct. 8, at around 10 p.m., when an unknown individual entered 399 Ellis St. and allegedly removed a 44-year-old victim’s credit card and $200 in cash from her purse before fleeing the premises in an unknown direction.

Angelina’s Ristorante is located at the address provided by police.

The individual is described as a male with a dark complexion and standing approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black and purple hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.
