She’s b-a-c-k! Actress Laverne Cox is camera-ready and excited to reprise her role as host of this year’s “Live From E!: Emmys” red carpet show set for Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, live from the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live in Los Angeles.
Before Cox hits the carpet, E! will begin its programming at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT with “Live from E!: Countdown to the Emmys.” Zuri Hall of “Access Hollywood,” E! style correspondent Zanna Roberts Rassi and comedian Amber Ruffin will host.
Then “Live From E!: Emmys” begins at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.
Cox will be joined by comedian Heather McMahan, and the talented duo will interview celeb after celeb bedecked in their best finery for the ceremony.
The 2023 primetime Emmy Awards are airing in January 2024 after the writers’ and actors’ strikes delayed the show.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE RED CARPET
According to E!, the countdown show “will bring fans exclusive fashion previews, a behind-the scenes look at this year’s carpet and live interviews from early arrivals.”
During the red carpet show Cox will have her signature segments, “How It Started vs. How It’s Going” and “What Story Are You Telling?” E! also promises the return of its popular Glambot.
