Patrick Mahomes Sr., father of Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was arrested Saturday in Tyler, Texas on a DWI for the third time or more, the New York Post is reporting.
In 2018, he received a second DWI charge and spent 40 days in jail on weekends, the report said.
Mahomes Sr., 53, was a fixture during the NFL playoffs as the Chiefs captured the AFC championship against the Baltimore Ravens last weekend. They’ll play in next Sunday’s Super Bowl LVIII.
Mahomes Sr. pitched for the Mets for two seasons as part of an 11-season MLB career, the report said.
