It’s a must see: Don’t miss the premiere episode of “Feud: Capote vs. The Swans,” a miniseries to air Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 10 p.m. on FX. The all-star cast includes Chloë Sevigny, Calista Flockhart, Naomi Watts, Diane Lane, Molly Ringwald and Demi Moore.
Ryan Murphy’s anthology series “Feud,” which last chronicled the rivalry between Joan Crawford and Bette Davis when it aired nearly seven years ago, now returns for an intriguing follow-up.
The new season is adapted from Laurence Leamer’s book “Capote’s Women” and centers around the fallout after Truman Capote (Tom Hollander) publishes a portion of his new book which offered a behind the senes account of the lives of members of the author’s splendid social group: a collection of well-connected New York City socialites.
FYI: The first two episodes air Wednesday night, Jan. 31 on FX, while a special extended director’s cut of the opening episode will air at the same time on FXX.
According to the website, the second installment in Ryan Murphy’s “Feud” translates into an eight-episode limited series based on the bestselling book “Capote’s Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal and a Swan Song for an Era” by Laurence Leamer.
